Conservation Research

K-BIAN is exploring partnerships with the Kenya Wildlife Service, the Kenya Forest Service, and researchers and research institutions. Conservation research seeks to develop effective and sustainable solutions for conservation challenges, such as habitat loss, climate change and human–wildlife conflict, providing the scientific basis for informed management decisions and policies related to conservation, and plays a crucial role in communicating research findings to land managers, policymakers and the public, to raise awareness and promote conservation actions. Conservation research also focuses on building capacity to address biodiversity loss.
